Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2026
Preemiyum Stats ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and store it, and your rights in relation to it.
In brief: we collect the minimum information needed to run your membership (your email address and payment details, the latter handled entirely by our payment processors), we don't sell your data to anyone, and you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing preemiyumstats@gmail.com.
1. Who we are
Preemiyum Stats is an Australian-operated sports betting analysis and commentary service, operating primarily via our website and Instagram account (@preemiyumstats). Our business details are:
- Business name: Preemiyum Stats
- ABN: [Insert ABN — to be added]
- Contact email: preemiyumstats@gmail.com
2. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
- Contact information you provide when you email us, message us on Instagram, or otherwise get in touch — such as your name, email address, and Instagram handle.
- Membership and transaction information when you subscribe or purchase — this includes your email address and the fact of your purchase. We do not collect or store your full card number, CVV, or bank account details — these are collected and processed directly by our payment processors, Stripe and Square (see Section 4).
- Communications you send us — including Instagram DMs, story replies, and emails — for example when claiming the 30-Day Profit Guarantee or providing feedback.
- Technical and usage information collected automatically when you visit our website, such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referral source, typically via standard hosting/analytics logs.
3. How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Provide and manage your membership and process payments;
- Communicate with you about your account, membership changes, or support requests;
- Verify and process claims under our Refund Policy and 30-Day Profit Guarantee;
- Improve our website and services;
- Comply with our legal obligations, including under the Privacy Act 1988, tax and consumer protection law; and
- With your consent, feature testimonials, member wins, or feedback on our website or social media (see Section 7).
We do not use your personal information for any purpose that isn't reasonably connected to the reasons you provided it, and we don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.
4. Who we share information with
We only disclose personal information where necessary to run our business, including to:
- Payment processors — Stripe (for Monthly subscriptions) and Square (for Lifetime membership) — who collect and process your payment details directly under their own privacy policies. We recommend reviewing Stripe's Privacy Policy and Square's Privacy Policy.
- Meta Platforms (Instagram) — where our service is delivered via Instagram stories and direct messages, and subject to Meta's Privacy Policy.
- Service providers who help us operate our website and business (for example, website hosting), under confidentiality obligations consistent with this policy.
- Regulators or authorities where required by law.
Some of these third parties (including Stripe, Square, and Meta) may store or process information on servers located outside Australia. By using our services, you acknowledge that your information may be handled overseas by these providers, in accordance with their own privacy and security practices. We take reasonable steps to only work with reputable providers with appropriate data protection standards.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use cookies or similar technologies (for example, through our hosting provider or basic analytics) to understand how visitors use the site and to keep it functioning correctly. These do not collect sensitive personal information. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the site may not function as intended if you do so.
6. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we limit access to personal information to what is reasonably necessary to operate our business.
7. Testimonials and member content
Where we feature a member's testimonial, message, or "win" on our website or social media, we only do so with that member's knowledge and consent, and we do not alter the substance of what they told us. If you have previously provided feedback or a message that has been featured and would like it removed, contact us at preemiyumstats@gmail.com and we will action this promptly.
8. Access and correction
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate, out of date, or incomplete, by emailing preemiyumstats@gmail.com. We will respond within a reasonable time (generally within 30 days) and will only refuse a request where permitted by law, in which case we'll explain why.
9. How to make a complaint
If you believe we have breached the Australian Privacy Principles or mishandled your personal information, please contact us first at preemiyumstats@gmail.com so we can investigate and resolve the issue. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal obligations. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our website or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
11. Contact us
For any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information, contact us at preemiyumstats@gmail.com.
Note on small business status: Australian privacy law has historically exempted small businesses (turnover under $3 million) from most Privacy Act obligations, though reform proposals to narrow or remove this exemption have been under active discussion. We've written this policy to reflect good privacy practice regardless of exemption status, since it builds trust with members and reduces risk either way — we recommend confirming your current exemption status with a lawyer or the OAIC if your turnover approaches this threshold.
